Please email me your mailing info and I'll get the package out to you!
Well, my trip to Oregon was eh, ok. My mom and I aren't the best of friends, that's all I'll say about that, so it was a quick visit with lots of "button pushing" on her part. A bit of family drama too. But also a bit of quilt shopping, so that made me happy. I always have fun quilt shopping with my sister-in-law. I actually was pretty good. My main purchase was a Rouenneries kit. This line of fabric seems to be a very popular line. I can't wait to make mine. We saw it at the shop in Sisters and the two shops in Bend, at one shop the person who sewed the shop sample apparently had a lot of scraps left over so she added a 6 inch scrappy border all the way around, and dang was it pretty, and it makes a much larger quilt. My sister-in-law and I both got the kit, is it ever pretty the way they packaged it, I bought extra yardage to put the scrappy border on mine too. I need to hurry up and order the fabric for the backing while it's still available out there, I have this thing about the backing matching the front. I told my sister-in-law we need to have a contest to see who finishes it first.
I am so glad I decided to take today off work too. The traffic was horrible driving home yesterday. It was hard for me to leave Oregon where the temps were in the 40s and come back home to summer-like weather again. I told my husband someday I want to move to Northern California, they are having their autumn up there! We're supposed to get in the 80s again today.
No pictures, still haven't gotten that new camera!

Hi Beth,
Glad you have returned safe and sound - it sounds like an eventful trip. It is always nice to do some quilt shopping- I am sure your new quilt will be very pretty with your new fabrics.

Warmest regards,

Sorry your trips to Bend aren't the funnest for you, hope I do get to see you up there again sometime, I'll be back again this summer! Can you tell me what quilt shops in Bend you saw the quilt with the cool border, Sew Many Quilts? A FQ bundle of Rouenneries is the main thing on my Christmas list this year, and was contemplating getting it online, but if it is available locally while I am there in December, that would be great!
