Well that's all I have, I am pondering what to work on next. I have so much stuff I want to work on, it makes it hard to decide. Something tells me I have enough quilting stuff to last for a while.

Yesterday my friends Nancy, Yvette and I headed down to Vista, CA to take a Make and Take class at Fat Quarters. Gosh that is a great shop, and the shop owner is the nicest lady. We all managed to finish our quilts in the time allotted. Such a cute quilt. I forgot to take a picture of mine, it's off being quilted, so here's a picture of the teacher's quilt. It's a little table topper for Valentine's Day.
While we were there I signed up for a BOM that the shop will be putting on for a quilt I've had the pattern for for ages, called Comfort and Joy. They have the actual pattern sample on loan in the classroom and it was GORGEOUS! If you click on the pictures you can see them in more detail.
While I was at Fat Quarters I did just a little bit of shopping, I managed not to get too carried away. One of the things I bought was the kit and pattern for this little one-block quilt. The pattern and kit was a whopping $1. I wanted to have the same sheepie fabric for the backing and binding so I splurged and bought a second kit for a buck. Not a bad little quilt for two bucks! I even did the quilting myself. It's already on display in my family room. I love it.

Fat Quarter is just the best shop. Whenever I walk in the door (and that is often *s*) I instantly feel at home.
