This is the latest addition to our family, the name we gave him is Milo. He was apparently abandoned. My husband's ex wife lives in the desert and she called us the other day and said this lovely boy had shown up at her door, and did we want him? She said he was scanned for a chip and didn't have one, so unless they missed it, he is with us in his forever home. Oh man, my husband and I already love this boy dearly after just 3 days and he sure seems to love us as his humans too. He is in pretty good shape for being abandoned, and is really a very good boy, all he needs is a little leash training. He didn't have tags either, and was not neutered. He has his first doctor's appointment on Friday for neutering and a chip. He is so sweet. I haven't had a dog since I was a kid, it's quite an adjustment. I have had cats for years. He seems ok with cats, he just looks in the door at them and walks away. The cats get more upset about the whole thing than he does.
I told my husband Milo needs a friend, but he's not too keen on having two, Milo is a big boy!

Oh he IS a beautiful boy. And how very wonderful of you two to take him in!!! There is just something about having a dog in your life that brings so much joy.
